My passion for writing was sparked by my passion for the Adirondack Mountains. The mountains, meadows, rivers, and lakes of northern New York State awaken my creative voice. I spend as much time as I can at my log cabin--listening, watching, reading, and digging into mountain legends. Besides the Adirondacks, I enjoy writing about women, nature, music, and history. I especially like to write for kids. My work has appeared in Highlights for Children and Cobblestone Magazine. I was thrilled when my first children's book, Two in the Wilderness, was published. |
